Spring 2017 Commencement
The 70th Navarro College Commencement Ceremony for Spring 2017 will take place from Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Corsicana Campus (Wolens Special Events Center) to Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Ellis County in the Midlothian High School Indoor Arena.
Eligibility to Graduate
A formal graduation exercise is held annually at the end of the spring semester. This exercise is for students who are completing requirements during that spring semester, who have completed requirements during the preceding summer or fall semesters, or who will complete the course(s) required for graduation during the next summer term.
If a student does not file an application, the student’s academic record will not be reviewed for graduation. Upon review, any student who has not met all degree requirements, as outlined in the College Catalog, will be notified of the deficiency and may reapply for a subsequent graduation period.
A student will not receive the diploma or be able to request a transcript until all outstanding obligations have been satisfied.
Invitations and Announcements
Customized graduation announcements are available for purchase at the Navarro College Bookstore or online through Signature Announcements, Inc.. Announcements can include the student’s name and the title of his or her degree, the major(s) and whether the student has qualified for honors. Announcements can be ordered as soon as they become available; please allow 10 to 14 days for printing and delivery. Caps and Gowns for Spring 2017 Commencement
All candidates for degrees and certificates must wear custom Navarro College apparel at Commencement.
Flash Photography cameras will be present at all Commencement ceremonies.
Friday, August 11, 2017, 7:00 p.m., Wolens Special Events Center.
All campuses will participate in one commencement ceremony for LVN (Licensed Vocational Nursing) students who have completed the requirements for Certificate of Completion.
Eligibility to Graduate

Upon review, any student who has not met all certificate requirements, as outlined in the College Catalog, will be notified of the deficiency and may reapply for a subsequent graduation or certificate completion period.
