BULLDOGS, NEO SET 1 PM GAME TIME FOR CHAMPIONSHIP

MIAMI, Ok. — Game time for the Southwest Junior College Football Conference Championship game between 13th ranked Navarro and 4th rated Northeastern Oklahoma A&M has been set for 1 pm Saturday at Robertson Field.

Third-seeded Navarro (8-2) advanced to the title game Saturday by beating second-seeded Kilgore 42-14 at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium in one semifinal, while top-seeded NEO outlasted fourth-seeded Tyler 37-35 in the other semifinal matchup.

Coach Brian Mayper’s Bulldogs and Dale Patterson’s Norsemen renew aquaintances from two weeks ago in the regular-season finale here.  NEO scored a 26-24 win over Navarro in first meeting.
