They were at it again Saturday — for the second time this semester.
As they build for tomorrow, members of the Navarro College football team spent the day working on a Habitat For Humanity project here in Corsicana.
Assistant coaches Cody Crill and Patrick Resby led another 10-man crew of Bulldog football players who spent the better portion of their day working on a new home and giving something back to the community. Navarro football willingly participates in the Habitat For Humanity program three times during the semester, and will have one more major work session before the semester ends.
Players who participated in the Saturday, March 23 team effort were Aaron Shaw, Chip Jones, John Williams, Josh Greer, Tim Wright, Daniel Onywegbu, Kerry Holliday, Micah Thomas, Deonte Wortham and Robert Felder.
Earlier this year, head coach Brian Mayper and assistant Josh Moore led manpower that included Patrick Dade, Dominic Kelly, Chad Dansby, Robert Lewis, Tarlandus Mitchell, Desmond Owino, Alex Miller and Brent Nicholson.
