Navarro keeps No. 2 rank in NJCAA poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Navarro Bulldogs maintain their grip on the No. 2 ranking in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association Football Poll, released Tuesday.

Coach Brian Mayper’s Bulldogs (2-0), opening Southwest Junior College Football Conference play Thursday at Cisco, rank No. 2 behind Mississippi Gulf Coast College for the second week.  In other weekly major national junior college football polls that also include California teams, Navarro is ranked No. 1 in the JCFootball.com / JC Gridwire Poll, and No. 6 in the JCGridiron.com’s Dirty 30 Rankings.
