Navarro softball managed a split of run-ruled games in its non-conference doubleheader Wednesday against the Ranger Rangers here at Jesse and Lou Cummings Field.

The Bulldogs (10-10) won the opener 10-2, but dropped the nightcap 8-0.  Both contests were shortened to five innings.

After Goulet’s fifth-inning homer, singles by Chavez, Melero and Kresta produced two more runs that ended the game.
