Unbeatens Navarro, Hill tangle Tuesday at Hillsboro

HILLSBORO —  Unbeatens Navarro and Hill renew their neighboring-county rival Tuesday as the Bulldogs travel west of Highway 22 for their first road game of the season.

Coach Michael Landers’ Bulldogs posted back-to-back, season-opening wins at home this weekend.  Navarro, featuring returning sophomore Emmanuel Egbuta with a mostly freshman cast, came through with an 84-60 Friday victory over Creating Young Minds (CYM) Academy of Irving.  The Bulldogs followed it up Saturday with a 102-101 overtime win over Lone Star-Cy Fair’s Falcons.
