INDIANAPOLIS — Former Navarro College offensive tackle J’Marcus Webb on Monday signed a free-agent contract to play with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.
Webb (6-7, 331) joined his sixth NFL club. The former seventh-round draft choice from West Texas A&M via Navarro College replaces injured offensive lineman Jared Machorro, who was waived from the Colts’ roster.
Webb has started 64 of the 80 career games that he has played in the NFL. He’s spent time with the Seattle Seahawks (2016), Oakland Raiders (2015), Kansas City Chiefs (2014), Minnesota Vikings (2013-14) and the Chicago Bears (2010-12).
Webb started 44 of 46 games he played with Chicago after the Bears selected him with the 218th overall pick of the 2010 draft.
Machorro was an undrafted free-agent signee from Texas A&M-Commerce, where the two-time all-conference selection was named Lone Star Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2017.
