We hope this website finds you as a high school graduate, with prospects of a good job, and plans for good summer workouts in preparation of enrolling at Navarro College in the fall. We have a successful walk-on class in our football program. We are excited about our walk-on program. As with any successful football program, i.e. Nebraska, Notre Dame, and Florida State, our walk-on program must be an integral part of this team. If you want the chance to participate, in our opinion, the best junior college program in the nation, follow the steps listed below.
In order to enroll in our walk-on program, you must meet NJCAA and Conference criteria for each sport. You must be a full time student (12 hours or more).
Here are several things you must do this summer in order to be in our walk-on program:
Send a copy of your official transcript which shows the date of your graduation to the Navarro College registrar's office.
Get a physical and mail the completed form to Navarro College Athletic Department or bring it with you when you come to Navarro College.
Complete the dormitory application and return the completed form with a $200.00 dorm deposit to Navarro College.
Complete the Application for Admission
and return to Navarro College.Apply for a Federal Pell Grant, if applicable.
Make every effort to pass the THEA test or its equivalent, before enrolling at Navarro College.
