Navarro’s Region XIV runners-up, ranked among the nation’s top 5, went 16-2 in 2017 and have bigger and greater goals ahead in 2018.  The Bulldogs, coached by Alicia Wilson and Oscar Lopez, continue to recruit talent best suited for the team concept as they keep Navarro women’s soccer annually among the NJCAA’s traditionally top programs.

See what we mean?

It’s A Real Kick!

8 Region XIV Championships (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2013, 2014)
7 District Championships (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2013, 2014)
7 NJCAA National Tournament Appearances (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2013, 2014)
2 NJCAA National Tournament Semifinalists (2013, 2014)
1 NJCAA National Runner-Up (2013)

That’s the first 12 years of the program under the guidance of Coaches Debbie and Aric Bonner. But there’s much more to it than imposing marks and impressive win-loss records. Bulldog soccer is

65 All-Region XIV Conference players since 2002
25 Soccer All-Americans since 2003
16 NJCAA Academic All-Americans since 2004, and traditionally high team grade-point averages that rank among the NJCAA’s very best.

Good people…better players…best grades…strongest drive…highest success.

Navarro soccer won six straight Region XIV Championships, five consecutive District E Championships and placed among the top 8 in 4 of 5 consecutive NJCAA National Tournaments in which they participated (2004-2008). The Bulldogs won their 8th region championship in 2014. In 2013, they climbed to the NJCAA’s No. 1 ranking, and achieved their highest finish at the national tournament.

Additionally, Navarro soccer placed among the Top 6 nationally in NJCAA Academic Team competition for five consecutive seasons. A first-place ranking in 2004 as “NJCAA Academic Team of The Year” was the centerpiece of Top 6 finishes in 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2006.
