HOW-TO INSTRUCTIONS: COURSE COPY:
In addition, you may want to move Blackboard course content from a previous semester into a Fall 2013 semester course. To copy items from one course to another, you can simply follow these steps:
- Go to PACKAGES & UTILITIES located in the Control Panel area of your previous course (the one with the content you wish to copy) and select COURSE COPY
- In the drop down menu, select “COPY MATERIALS INTO AN EXISTING COURSE”
- Using the Browse button, locate the course and section you wish to copy the content into (i.e., the course for the upcoming semester)
- Mark the content you wish to copy using the check boxes on the right of each item (or simple click the Select All button) — NOTE: Please DO NOT select Duration Dates and Enrollments!
- Click Submit
You will receive an email confirmation once the content has been successfully copied over.
Also, the University of Southern Mississippi has created a brief tutorial on how to copy course materials, and this process is identical to Navarro College. You can view the tutorial by visiting the following site: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEfUqbyC0IE
