While going to college students encounter a myriad of transitions in their lives. Issues that arise may include anything from independent living, college life issues, independent study, as well as new relationships, identity crises, depression or anxiety, and/or time management difficulties. Often, in coping with these issues, professional assistance can ease the transition across these various bridges of life. In addition to academic advisors, Navarro College employs on the residential campus Licensed Professional Counselors who are especially prepared to assist students with a variety of issues. Please note that all services are confidential, and mental health referrals may be necessary.
Contact the Counseling Center in Corsicana at (903)875-7379 to make an appointment to see a professional counselor. Remember, if you have an immediate crisis on or off campus, you can call 911, and on campus in Corsicana, you can call 9-911 or for campus security you may dial 903-654-3999.
