Bio:
Mrs. Dillman began her teaching career at Navarro College accepting a position as a biology instructor during a faculty shortage. She had first been hired on as a laboratory instructor fresh out of college assisting the other faculty members in the Science Department. Since then, she has helped turn the Biology Department around, bringing it into the 21st century, introducing many new innovative ideas to capture the imaginations of her students. She offers the students experiences in class, and out of class (fieldtrips), to further enrich the learning process that she so embraces. Dedicated to her students, her peers, and her community, Mrs. Dillman embodies the essence of what a true "educator" wants to accomplish. She has been teaching at Navarro College for over sixteen years providing students with creative and entertaining learning experiences in the field of biology. Her refreshing style of teaching combines both a traditional classroom base complimented with continually new and challenging projects for the students that keep them excited about learning.
