My hobbies are: reading, gardening, golf, feeding pets, looking at things through my microscopes
Courses taught: Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology I and II, Introductory Human Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition and Diet Therapy
Activities on campus: am currently the Biology Coordinator, have served on the Executive Committee of the Faculty Association and on the Enrollment Management Committee, attend various sporting events, plays and musical concerts
In the community: am currently the chair of the Family Selection Committee for Navarro County Habitat for Humanity, co-chair the annual Needy Family Project at St. John's Episcopal Church, Altar Guild member at St. John's
Professional development: attend monthly symposia in Dallas at UT Southwestern Medical center (STARS program), participated in a summer lab internship with STARS, have attended National Biology Teacher's Association conference in Montreal, Canada, National Science Teacher's Association conference in Dallas, Human Anatomy and Physiology Society Conferences in Calgary, Canada, St. Louis, Mo, and Austin, Texas, American Society for Microbiologists conference in Orlando, Fla.
Personal: married with children; live on 20 acres
Pets: 6 dogs, 2 cats, one peahen (the others flew away at their first opportunity), one male beta, lots of fish, etc. in the small pond
