A formal graduation exercise is held annually at the end of the spring semester at Navarro College. This exercise is for those students who are completing requirements during the spring semester, who have completed requirements during the preceding summer or fall semesters, or who are within two courses of completing requirements and who are enrolled in the course(s) for the next summer term. To participate in the graduation exercise, the student must submit an application for graduation to the Registrar's Office no later than the date published in the calendar.
Students may graduate under the catalog and programs in effect at the time of their initial enrollment as long as they have had continuous enrollment. Missing one long semester (fall or spring) constitutes a break in enrollment and students will be required to adhere to the catalog and programs in effect at the time of their re-enrollment. Students also have the choice of graduating under the catalog and programs in effect at the time of graduation. Students must choose one or the other and may not combine rules or programs from two or more catalogs.
