The IT Help Desk is located on the second floor of the Albritton Building, room 255A on the Corsicana Campus. If you are in Waxahachie, Midlothian, Mexia or Fairfield, contact the Help Desk by phone or email for assistance!

HELP DESK HOURS:

Monday – Friday
8am – 5pm

We are here to answer your Navarro College technology questions. To contact us, email the Help Desk at helpdesk@navarrocollege.edu or call 903.875.7416.

Here are a few identifying pieces of information the Help Desk requires when a student calls or sends an email:

  • First and last name
  • Navarro College Student ID number
  • Description of problem(s)
  • Course problems: course name and section number
  • Application errors (in a web browser or in the operating system): exact error message, the task being performed when the error occurred, the number of times this problems has occurred, and whether the computer has been rebooted.

STUDENT PASSWORD RESET INSTRUCTIONS

If you have logged in previously and have forgotten your password(s), you can follow these instructions. Please DO NOT share your passwords with anyone!

WebAdvisor (if you have forgotten your login ID)

  1. Go to http://webadvisor.navarrocollege.edu/
  2. Click on “Account Information” at the bottom right side of the screen
  3. Click “What’s my User ID”
  4. Fill out the information that is asked for (last name, SSN or Student ID)
  5. Your user name will be listed as “Firstname.Lastname” or “Firstname.Lastname+some numbers”.
    • Remember your user name – this will be your user name for WebAdvisor, WebMail, and BlackBoard [space px=”-15″]

NOTE:

  • If you cannot access using your default password, then please click “What’s My Password” at the bottom right side of the page main menu.
  • Click “Reset my Password” and fill out the information listed
  • You will receive a temporary password at the email address we have listed for you.[space px=”-15″]

WebAdvisor (if you have forgotten your password)

  1. Go to http://webadvisor.navarrocollege.edu/
  2. Click on “What’s My Password” at the bottom right side of the screen
  3. Click “Reset my password” and fill out the information that is asked for
  4. You will receive a temporary password at your Navarro College email address or a personal email address that you have given to the college. [space px=”-15″]

WebMail

  1. If you have previously set up the password recovery feature, click on the “Forgot password?” link on the login page.
  2. If you have not set up teh password recovery feature, contact the Help Desk at 903.875.7416 or helpdesk@navarrocollege.edu for assistance. As soon as you can access your account, set up the password recovery feature by selecting “My Account” under your name and in the “Personal info & privacy” section, select “Your personal info” and enter your cell phone number. [space px=”-15″]

BlackBoard

  1. Go to http://blackboard.navarrocollege.edu
  2. Click on “Forgot Your Password” in the login box
  3. Enter the information requested
  4. Password reset instructions will be sent to your Navarro College email address.[space px=”-15″]
