Residence Life for Honors Program

Just as athletes need workout facilities and musicians need rehearsal spaces, scholars need quiet retreats. That’s why Navarro College created the IOOF Honors Residence Halls. The IOOF cottages are three cottages that house our Honors program residents. Any student wishing to live in the IOOF cottages must first be approved to reside there by Carol Hanes, Dean of Arts, Sciences, & Humanities.

The IOOF Cottages is furnished with bunkable beds, chest of drawers, built-in desks and closets. There is a lounge in each cottage with computers, flat screen television, lounge furniture, and wireless internet. Laundry machines are located in Friendship and Truth cottages. The area is supervised by a full-time Residence Life staff member. The Residence Life Department has extensive programming to meet the special needs of honor students.

IOOF cottages are located on the north part of the campus, just north of the football practice fields. If you join us, you can become part of a community of learners, sharing a welcoming spirit of ideas and forming friendships that can last for a lifetime.

Check out the Residence Halls webpage for more information.
