The collections in the Navarro College Archives are organized into four broad divisions: Special Collections, College Archives, Community Archives, and Rare Books.

The College Archives serves as the institutional memory of Navarro College and its service area. Records and papers of enduring value document the development of Navarro College from its inception in 1946 through today. Collections include, or will include, the papers of faculty members, alumni, staff, and other individuals significant to the historical development of Navarro College; records of student organizations and groups; student activities including but not limited to athletics, arts, and academics; and institutional records such as yearbooks, college
catalogs and course schedules, and student and faculty records.

The collections are open and available to researchers agreeing to abide by the regulations established for use of the materials; however, access may be restricted to some records and/or collections in the College Archives for legal reasons or to protect the privacy of individuals, organizations, or the college.
