The staff of the Navarro College Archives will provide assistance in accessing collections housed in the archives. Collection guides to most all of the archival materials are available on this website. Due to their unique nature, archival materials are stored in closed stacks and may not be checked out; patrons use the materials in the archives under staff supervision. Paper and electronic copies of many of the archives' collections (original documents and transcriptions) are available for a nominal charge. Some restrictions apply. Please contact the archivist for further information. Reference services are available to all members of the faculty, staff, and students of Navarro College as well as visiting scholars, students, and members of the general public. The archives' staff will provide reference assistance by mail, telephone, electronic mail, and fax as well as in person. In all reference requests, please include your name and complete contact information. Questions are addressed in the order in which they were received, and response time will vary. Because of staffing constraints, all visitors to the Navarro College
Archives are advised to make an appointment at least two weeks in advance.
Upon arrival at the archives, researchers must present valid photo identification
and complete a registration form, agreeing to abide to the regulations
for using the collections. Please contact the Archivist or the Dean of Learning Resources and Special Collections with any questions or concerns regarding access to or use of archival materials.
