Orientation and Instruction
Formal tours of the Richard M. Sanchez Library are offered throughout the semester as necessary. Patrons wanting to take an individual tour of the library should contact the staff. Tours will last approximately 30 minutes and will introduce patrons to the various services and opportunities provided by the library. In addition to these tours, faculty may schedule tours for their individual class sections.
Faculty: If your students will be using library materials and/or services for research projects, we strongly urge you to contact us in order to schedule a library-use instruction session for your classes. Formal orientations are the best way we have of equipping students to use the library’s resources efficiently. A librarian is always available to speak with you to assess the type of orientation that is best suited to the needs of your class.
Sessions are available for each of the four Navarro College campuses. If you would like more information or would like to schedule a session, please refer to the contact information below.
