A MAJOR EVENT is defined as any event that involves more than 50 people, has a college-wide impact, includes individuals from outside the college and is generally open to the public. This event should be planned and approved AT LEAST one (1) month prior to the proposed event. For larger events, it is recommended the the plan be submitted to the Dean or Supervisor at least two (2) months prior to the event. Initiator must receive approval for the event from the initiator's PELT (President's Executive Leadership Team) member prior to completing and submitting this form. As event organizer, you are responsible for securing the location to be used for your event prior to submission of this form.
