Navarro College is proud to offer a NEW scholarship to students enrolled or intend to enroll in the Navarro College Police Academy. Deadline has been extended to Thursday, December 1, 2016.
This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Officer Brent Thompson. To be an eligible recipient, student must be enrolled in the Police Academy Basic Peace Officer Certificate or intend to enroll for this program and be a resident of Navarro or Ellis County. This scholarship will pay tuition, books and fees for a student enrolled in the Police Academy. Serious applicants must ensure that all requested information is supplied including a minimum 500 word essay explaining why you want to become a law enforcement officer.
POLICE ACADEMY ADMISSION STANDARDS
Students must meet all eligibility requirements of TCOLE and the Navarro College Police Academy Advisory Board to enroll.
This information will be verified by the Police Academy staff. Police Academy Coordinator reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify requirements of Navarro College, the Police Academy, or TCOLE.
