The Navarro College at Mexia Campus Foundation is planning its first annual Aiming for Education sporting clay shoot fundraiser. The Navarro College at Mexia Campus Foundation hopes to raise funds that will allow us to provide scholarships to students in our service area, which consists of Freestone, Limestone, and Leon counties. To ensure the success of our first ever sporting clay shoot event, we are asking for participation in the event, as well as sponsorship donations and event prize merchandise.
Aiming for Education will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Caney Creek Lodge in Teague, Texas. The event, which will consist of four-person teams, will begin at 2 p.m. and will conclude with a dinner and silent auction at 6 p.m.
Your participation in the sporting clay shoot and/or your donation of cash or prize merchandise will help the Foundation provide scholarships to deserving students in our area. Donation forms and team entry forms are enclosed. If you plan to register a team, please do so by Friday, October 11, 2013. To obtain additional information, you may also call Linda Davis or Kathy Paschal at 254.562.3848.
