Midlothian, TX – May 8, 2015 –After great success in launching the American Honors program on the Corsicana campus, Navarro College will be offering American Honors to students in Ellis County, on the Midlothian Campus, beginning Fall 2015.

The American Honors program at Navarro College gives students an affordable opportunity to develop and practice the skills needed to transfer to a four-year school and build a foundation for career success. With a network of four-year colleges and universities extending from coast to coast, graduates of this program have unlimited options for where they’ll go next. In addition, the program provides a sense of community for the students combined with smaller class sizes, dedicated faculty and courses designed for a higher level of learning and engagement.

So, how do you apply? Students are invited to join Navarro College on Thursday, May 14th to Apply on the Spot. Advisors will be available to help with the application process and provide students with a quick admissions decision.

While a 3.25+ GPA is recommended, the admissions process is holistic, recognizing students for their academic performance as well as their community involvement. Applicants should come prepared with their transcripts and test scores.

Navarro College is currently the only community college in the state of Texas offering the American Honors program.
