May 30, 2018 – Limestone County area parents and guardians are encouraged to make an investment in their child’s intellectual development by enrolling them in Navarro College South’s Kids College.

Kids’ College is just one week long and has many entertaining, hands-on classes. Students are divided into age groups and rotate through various classes, such as Science, Music, Art, Computer, Theater and Spanish.

The event begins Monday, June 18, and is offered 1-5 p.m. for four days for children who have completed kindergarten through third grades; or 8 a.m.-noon for five days for children who have completed third through sixth grades.

The theme of this year’s Kids College is Old Fort Parker and the stories of Cynthia Ann Parker and Helen Plummer. Descendants of the Plummer family plan to join the class for storytelling one day that week. The older students will go on a field trip to Old Fort Parker for their Friday session.

All activity supplies and snacks each day are provided with the cost for these classes; and those who register before June 1 are guaranteed a Kids College t-shirt.
