Navarro College offers two (2) major book buys per year - at the end of each long semester(December and May). You can find information on our next buy back later in this section. Buys are always conducted the last three (3) days of exams in Dec. May.
These are the basic rules for our buybacks:
You must possess a valid NC ID card or be presently enrolled in at least three (3) hours
You do not need your purchase receipt to sell your books; however, all books must be in resalable condition.
You will be given cash for your books
If the title has been readopted for the upcoming semester and the bookstore has a need for the title, you will be given half of what you paid for the book - new or used, hardback or paperback If the title has not been readopted or the bookstore has all we need, you have the opportunity to sell your books to a wholesale book buyer at a reduced rate.
The purpose of Buyback is to give out students an opportunity to recycle their unwanted textbooks for cash at the semester's end and at the same time, provide students in the upcoming semester with more used books as an alternative to new books.
