Tutorial Lab
A major component of the Student Support Services program is the Tutorial Lab which is located in the Student One Stop Center on the lower level, room 110.
Well-trained tutor/peer counselors assist students with specific academic courses in one-on-one as well as group sessions. They also teach valuable college survival skills such as time management, study skills, testing and test anxiety. The tutors are sophomore level students who have completed the courses they tutor with a 3.3 to 4.0 GPA. Professor recommendation of qualified students is the primary source for recruiting tutors. Others interested in tutoring may inquire in the tutorial lab.
