Spotlight on William Zimmerman
On May 24th, William Zimmerman will walk across the stage at Waxahachie High School to receive his High School Diploma. What many people do not know is that Mr. Zimmerman will also be graduating from Navarro College this semester with his Associates in Science Degree. William Zimmerman is one of the first of a few students from Navarro College to complete his Associates Degree the same year he is graduating from high school and the only student from Waxahachie High School to have done this.
This was no easy task to complete. While in high school William was a member of the National Honor Society and the Phi Psi Beta Chi. He also founded the Statistics club, played the jazz guitar in the orchestra, and managed to finish in the top 6% of his class with Honors. During this same time he made the Dean’s list and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Navarro College.
Now that William Zimmerman is way ahead of the game he plans to attend Baylor University with a full scholarship and double major in Finance and Applied Mathematics.
