Navarro students pay tribute to veterans

Phi Theta Kappa

The Navarro College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society visited the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas on Dec. 15, 2012, to participate in their ceremony honoring our fallen servicemen and to lay wreaths on their graves.  The group contributed eight wreaths, and laid one specifically on the grave of one of the club member’s grandfather.  The ceremonies and wreath laying took place in  national cemeteries all over the nation on the same day.  Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization that sponsors these ceremonies each December. Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of two-year colleges and academic programs.
