Admission Ranking Points
Applicants are offered admission based on a total ranking score. Ranking scores are arranged in descending numerical order, starting with the top ranking score from the pool of applicants and continuing in rank order from highest to lowest until class slots are filled. When all slots are filled, a portion of the remaining applicants are placed on an active alternate list in the same rank order from highest to lowest for admission if a space becomes available. Applicants not admitted are encouraged to reapply for the next upcoming class. Application files and other documents are not maintained by the Nursing Department from year to year. There is no waiting list.
Each applicant's ranking score is calculated by adding points from the following criteria.
Note: Subject to change with each admission. Updated information is provided at Program Information Sessions.
