LVN-RN Bridge
A five-semester curriculum with a 12-week summer bridge course that allows LVN's to "bridge" the gap between the Vocational Nursing program and the second year of the Associate Degree Nursing Program. LVN's must have one year's full-time equivalent experience, must satisfy all of the general education requirements of the first year of the Associate Degree Nursing program, as well as meet other specific program admissions requirements. Once the bridging course is successfully completed, the student is eligible for entry into the sophomore year of the Associate Degree Nursing Program. LVN's interested in the Bridge Program should seek a degree plan from the Associate Degree Program one year in advance of expected summer enrollment.
Required Courses
No prerequisites are required, but Math Proficiency is advised before entry. Each course in the LVN Program must be successfully completed with a minimum grade of 75 in order to proceed within the program.
