Oil & Gas Production Technology
The fourth class of our successful oil and gas technology program begins this spring!
Navarro College will begin classes for the next group of students entering the oil and gas production technology certificate in spring 2009. We are also planning to offer PTRT 1301 as an online offering for the first time for the spring 2009 semester.
This unique program allows students to take 13 classes over three semesters, and teaches them the skills they will need to work for companies like EnCana and XTO Energy. In fact, graduates of the program will have the opportunity to interview for employment with these companies. EnCana and XTO Energy have now donated in excess of $450,000 in scholarships and special oil and gas equipment to help students train.
