Tech Prep is a college preparatory program that provides high school students a head start on a college technical degree or certificate; preparing them for jobs of the future.
A four year graduation plan, based on the Recommended High School Program or above, and a two-year associate of applied science (A.A.S.) degree plan results in a 6 year, focused, and sequenced program of study called Tech Prep.
Advances in technology have changed the workplace in a dramatic way. Students graduating from high school need highly technical skills to be competitive in the job market. Up to 85% of all jobs require at least two years of education beyond high school. Navarro College Tech Prep can help by articulating college credit for high school courses!
