Testing at all Navarro College Testing Centers is by appointment only and will require Photo ID. Some items are not allowed in Testing Centers and cannot be stored by Test Center personnel. The items include, but are not limited to, the following: Cell phones, all electronic devices, calculators, backpacks, books, food, drinks or tobacco products. Please note that all test fees are non-refundable.

Placement Testing
Navarro College offers the ACCUPLACER as its placement test. The test is given on the computer, and you are allowed 3 hours and 10 minutes to complete the exam. If you have already turned in your application for admission prior to testing, you will be able to receive your scores immediately upon completion of the test. Step 1: Turn in application for admission at the Registrar’s Office on any of our three campuses.
Step2: Call the Navarro College Testing Center on the main campus to find out which test you should take and to schedule an appointment. You can call us directly at (903) 875-7457, or call 1-800-NAVARRO and ask for the Testing Center.
Step 3: Be sure to bring proper ID and payment on the day of your test.
(Two forms of non-photo ID may be substituted on placement tests only.) Some acceptable forms of non-photo ID are: social security card, library card, valid credit card, employment ID, yearbook (recent), or description of the examinee on high school stationery signed by a school official.

Valid Forms of Identification for GED
- Original Social Security Card (U.S. citizens)
- Government-issued ID (both national and foreign). Examples include Driver=s License, Texas State ID card, Passports, and Military/Government ID cards.
Valid Forms of Identification for all other tests given at Navarro
- One form of photo ID (includes but not limited to the following) Valid Driver=s License with picture, Student ID card, Valid passport, Military ID card, State ID card, Or
- Two forms of non-photo ID (includes but not limited to the following) Social Security card, Library card, Valid credit card, Employment ID card, Yearbook (must be recent), Description of the examinee on high school or college stationery—signed by an official of that institution
GED Testing Information
The College gives the GED test on the Main Campus in Corsicana. The cost is $85 for the complete test and $15 for Retests. The test is given once a month and pre-registration is required. Call the Testing Center for dates and times. To pre-register, you must have the following:
- Current and valid Government-issued Photo ID (both national and foreign)
- Know your social security number and bring your test fee
- Under 18, call for special instructions
Examples of Photo ID include Texas Driver's License, Texas State ID card, valid Passport, and Military/Government ID card.
