HOW TO TRANSFER FROM THERE TO HERE.  STEP-BY-STEP.

1. SELECT YOUR MAJOR

Whether you plan to continue studying your same major, or have a new interest, you’ll want to explore NC’s Degrees & Majors. We offer degrees that prepare students to transfer to four-year universities plus degrees and certificates that provide students with the right set of skills and knowledge for a specific job or occupation. Our programs are led by professors from different disciplines who are dedicated to teaching and committed to our students’ success.

2. VISIT NC

Visiting our five campuses will give you an in-depth look at everything NC has to offer. Our tours include opportunities to learn about the admissions process, transfer information, and financial aid. You’ll be able to check out our classrooms, labs, athletic facilities and residence halls, and meet our professors and staff.

Want a more one-on-one approach? Contact the Student Recruiting Office at 903.875.7343 or email: student.recruiting@navarrocollege.edu so we can make an appointment for you to come in, sit down with one of our admissions recruiters, and map out how NC will be the perfect college for you.

However you look at it, we can’t wait to have you here!

3. APPLY TO NC

You can apply one of two ways

    1. Online: we encourage students to apply online at ApplyTexas since it speeds up your admission process dramatically (Oh, and it helps us to continue our goal of going green by cutting down on paper).

    2. Paper: The application is downloadable PDF and printable for your convenience.

If you have questions or need help with the online application, email our Admissions Office at admissions@navarrocollege.edu or give us a call at 903.875.875.7700.

4. APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID & SCHOLARSHIPS

APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID

Use code 003593 when applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) through www.fafsa.gov to have your information sent to Navarro College. You will receive a letter with your financial aid awards and further instructions.

Priority deadlines* to apply for financial aid:

Fall semester: June 1

Spring semester: October 15

Summer terms: March 1

*Submitting financial aid documents by the priority deadline reduces the chances of delays in the processing and awarding of financial aid.

Visit the Costs & Aid website for details at www.costs-aid.financialaid.

APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS

We encourage all students to apply for scholarships. Most scholarships are awarded based upon ACT/SAT scores, grades, declared major, talent, leadership, ambition, and in many cases, financial need. Any one of these could qualify you for one of several different award programs at NC! Find out how and when to apply for Scholarships.

Visit the scholarship website for details at scholarships.navarrocollege.edu.

5. SUBMIT TRANSCRIPTS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS

OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS

After you submit your application to NC, contact the college(s) that you attended or are currently attending, and have them send your complete, official transcript(s) bearing the signature of the appropriate official and seal from each college attended to the NC Admissions & Records Office.

Mail to:

Navarro College
Office of Admissions and Records
3200 W. 7th Avenue
Corsicana, TX 75110

We will evaluate which credits can be transferred and how they help meet the requirements for your degree or certificate. Once we do this, your academic advisor will tell you which credits have transferred, so you’ll know exactly where you stand.

And if you want to know what’s what right away, we can help you figure out which of your credits will transfer before you apply to NC.  Just make an appointment with one of our academic advisors, who will be happy to help you.

For appointments, contact an academic advisor on your campus:

Corsicana: (903) 875-7397

Mexia: (254) 562-3848

Midlothian: (972) 775-7200
