On back-to-back calendar dates, Navarro College athletics earned NJCAA National Tournament Championship qualifications in two Division I sports. Coach Ronda Shirley's third-ranked volleyball team (37-4) defeated Trinity Valley for a fourth time this season and earned the school's first-ever national volleyball tournament berth on Sunday at Lee College in Baytown.  Navarro's Region XIV runners-up will compete in the three-day, 12-team meet at The Sports Arena in Hutchinson, Ks., Nov. 15-17. The last time Navarro athletics produced multiple national qualifiers during a school year occurred in 2005 when soccer and softball advanced.
