EDUCATION CAMPS

Kid’s College

Grades: 1-6

 

Keep your school aged kids busy this summer with Kids College! This camp offers fun workshops perfect for curious and motivated learners. Activities vary by campus. Registration starts in May.

SPORTS CAMPS

Kids Soccer Camp

Ages: 6-12 years old

 

The Navarro College Kids Soccer Camp on the Corsicana Campus is designed to teach players new soccer skills while being efficient and effective when playing games. Featuring a staff of college head and assistant coaches, as well as current Navarro Soccer players, Kids Soccer Camp players will be exposed to the next level of soccer and will be given the chance to compete in one of the most competitive camp atmospheres in the country. The Kids Soccer Camp has a limited enrollment so sign up early to take advantage of this exciting opportunity!

Kids Softball Camp

Ages: 6-18 years old

 

Navarro College is excited to host their softball camp this summer that is sure to not only help players improve their skills, but also provide a fun and competitive environment. The Softball Camp is specially designed to meet the needs of athletes.

 

Two types of camps available: Day Camp (for ages 6-18 with prior approval) & Overnight Camp (for ages 9-18 years with prior approval). Overnight campers will be housed in Residence Hall and provided all meals.

Volleyball Camp

Grades: Middle School – High School

 

The Navarro College Volleyball All Skills Camps on the Corsicana Campus are specially designed to meet the needs of athletes entering grades Middle School – 12th. Our camps focuses on all aspects of the game with the emphasis on fundamentals. Skill development is emphasized during hours of on-court instruction in the following areas: serving, serve receiving, forearm passing, setting, attacking, team defense, blocking, team reception, attack coverage and team transition. Campers are skill-tested and placed in a group of similar age and ability.

HEALTH CAMPS

Occupational Therapy Camp

Ages: 4-12 years old

 

Hosted by the OTA students. It’s never too early to teach young children how to focus on increasing their eye-hand coordination, using fine and gross motor skills, improving their handwriting skills, applying hand strength and understanding their sensory motor skills.

TECHNOLOGY CAMPS

Computer Information Technology Camp

Grades: 8th-12th

 

The Computer Information Technology Summer Camp is aimed toward students in grades 8th-12th, who want to learn about computer technology, programming, problem solving, and college readiness. Students will be taught introductory concepts of programming through hands-on activities such as building a small car and programming it to move.
