The Navarro College Department of Theater opened its 2017—18 season with its production of a children’s play, “Kantorbury Tails: Live!” directed by Dr. Shellie O’Neal, chair of Theater. Performances were given at two elementary schools in Mexia and for an after-school program in Kerens. The Navarro College Black Box Theater hosted two performances Thursday, Sept. 21.
Students who participated in this production include: Jaelyn Bergey, Ryan Dunn, Isaiah Johnson, Rachel Tew, Natalie Herrin, Waundell Brewer, Ty Gibson, Kaitlyn Lewis, Tneyah Thomas, Amber Williams, Ruby Deaton, Teresa Roberson, LaTonya Smith, Kimmie Johnson, Joyce Shabani, Rosy Itoula, Alisa Okoro, Zion Reynolds, Vincent Brigance, Keegan Jones, Daja Robertson, Josephine Allen, Irvin Horn, Kirsten Kindle, Bailey Shaw and Shardae Jones.
