Blake Fisk and Katie Atkeisson named 2021 Homecoming King and Queen

On Saturday, October 16, Navarro College crowned the 2021 Homecoming Queen and King at halftime of NC's 37-2 victory over Southern University (Shreveport) at the Community National Bank & Trust Stadium in Corsicana.
Katie Atkeisson, a sophomore and communications major, was named Navarro College's 2021 Homecoming Queen. Blake Fisk, a sophomore and Occupational Therapist Assistant major, was named Navarro College's 2021 Homecoming King. The newly crowned pair were voted royalty during Navarro College's 75th Anniversary Homecoming celebration over the weekend.
Another crowned pair, Jeremy Sessions (Business major) and Guadalupe Beauchamp (Nursing major) were named Navarro College's 2021 Homecoming Prince and Princess. Past homecoming royalty were also present during the ceremony.
Fourteen Navarro College students were nominated by their peers for a position on the 2021 NC Homecoming court. A few days prior to homecoming, five king/queen finalists were interviewed by the NC Homecoming Court judges who then selected the winners.
NC's other homecoming queen finalists in alphabetical order were Aliyah Clark, Maggie Dragoo, and Abbi Therwhanger. NC's other homecoming court prince/princess candidates in alphabetical order were Leo Borjas, Calip Brewer, Cassandra Cruz, Vidi Hernandez, Marta Moreno, Sidney Tindall, and Katie Wigington.
Navarro College homecoming activities began with NC's 75th Anniversary Exhibition at the Pearce Museum on October 11th and concluded October 16th.
