Mardi Gras Gala 2017

The Navarro College Foundation is pleased to present the 2016-17 Mexia Mardi Gras fundraising event on Saturday, March 4, 2017,at 6 p.m. at the Mexia Civic Center. Proceeds from the event will provide student and faculty scholarships for the South Campus.

Over $6,000 in scholarships were awarded this past fall to 30 students living in Limestone, Freestone and Leon counties. Funds raised here are reserved for students in our tri-county service area. We use these precious funds judiciously and identify recipients who have no other means to attend Navarro College. In addition, a small portion of this year’s proceeds will fund the Teaching Innovation Award, where local college faculty compete for funds to provide an innovative teaching method, course redesign, or improved instructional strategy through the addition of classroom technology and/or equipment.

Doors will open at 6pm for a cocktail reception and silent auction. Dinner and dessert will follow catered by Joe Friday’s. After dinner the live auction will begin. Entertainment throughout the night will be provided by Navarro College Saxophone Quartet.

Individual Tickets 

Individual tickets $75 each or $700 per table of 8 to ensure group seating. Individual tickets are sold at random. If you desire to sit with someone or a group, we recommend that you purchase a sponsorship or table.
