The Navarro College Foundation is pleased to present the 2017-18 Mexia Legacy fundraising event on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the St.Mary’s Parish Hall. Proceeds from the event will provide student and faculty scholarships for the South Campus.
Over $6,000 in scholarships were awarded this past fall to 30 students living in Limestone, Freestone and Leon counties. Funds raised here are reserved for students in our tri-county service area. We use these precious funds judiciously and identify recipients who have no other means to attend Navarro College. In addition, a small portion of this year’s proceeds will fund the Teaching Innovation Award, where local college faculty compete for funds to provide an innovative teaching method, course redesign, or improved instructional strategy through the addition of classroom technology and/or equipment.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for a cocktail reception and silent auction.
This year’s event promises to be a fun filled evening highlighting the community’s western culture, with country and western music, dancing, great food and entertainment. The event will include a live and silent auction and provide guests an opportunity to participate in raising scholarship funds for area students. So polish your boots, starch your jeans and plan to join us for an exciting event.

Individual tickets $75 each or $550 per table of six (6) to ensure group seating. Individual tickets are sold at random. If you desire to sit with someone or a group, we recommend that you purchase a sponsorship or table.
