Navarro College participates in the State of Texas Insurance program, the Texas Teacher Retirement System (TRS), and the Optional Retirement Program (ORP). These benefits are available upon full-time employment. Full-time employees also have the option of joining the Navarro College Retirement Plan after one year of service. Full-time employees may apply for tuition and fee grants equal to Texas public institutional rates to pursue higher education at any level. Family members are eligible for tuition reduction at Navarro College.
Selective Service Requirement
HB 558, passed by the 76th Legislature, requires that males between the ages of 18 and 25 show proof of compliance with federal Selective Service law in order to be eligible for employment with the state.
