Physics
The Physics program provides students with a comprehensive grounding in the laws governing the behavior of matter. The close relationship between theory and experiment, and the open, dynamic character of physics are stressed. Topics of current interest in fundamental physics and modern technology receive special emphasis.
Navarro College offers the Associate of Science (AS) degree in Physics which is designed to prepare students for transfer to baccalaureate colleges or universities as Physics or other science majors. Physics is also an accepted pre-medical field of study.
