Welcome to the Navarro College Theatre Department

Discover your stage, your voice, and your creativity at Navarro College Theatre! Whether you want to perform, design sets, or work behind the scenes, our department offers hands-on opportunities to grow as an artist.

Our Productions

Each year, we bring four exciting productions to life: 

  • Two Main Stage Shows - Full-scale productions on our 400-seat proscenium stage

  • Two Second Stage Shows - Initimate, experimenetal performances in our 90-seat Black Box Theatre. 

Our students also perform at the Pearce Museum (Cook Education Center), on campus, and in tours around Corsicana and nearby communities.

 

Hands-On Student Experience

At Navarro, you learn by doing. Students gain practical experience in: 

  • Acting and ensemble performance

  • Set design and construction

  • Lighting, sound, and costume design

  • Stage management, properties, and makeup

No matter your interest, there's a role for you both on stage and behind the scenes. 

 

Scholarships and Support

We offer generous theatre scholarships to help students pursue their passion. Auditions and scholarship applications provide opportunities to showcase your talent and earn financial support for your studies.
