Navarro College offers an award-winning Fine Arts program designed to prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions as a junior-level art, music, or theatre majors. The program emphasizes the development of artistic knowledge, proficiency, and an understanding of the cultural heritage of society.
BAND AND MARCHING BAND

The Navarro College Band program offers multiple ensembles, including the marching band, wind ensemble, symphonic band, pep band, and Navarro Jazz. Students perform in concerts, competitions, and community events, gaining experience in both performance and ensemble leadership. These groups have earned recognition at prestigious events such as the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention.

CHORAL AND VOCAL PROGRAM

The Navarro Choral and Vocal Program includes Chorale, Chamber Singers, Men's Chorus, and Women's Chorus. Students perform a wide variety of repertoire representing various centuries and languages. Singers are eligible to participate in Texas Two-Year College Choral Directors Association (TTCCDA), Southwestern American Choral Directors Association (SWACDA) and American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Honor Choirs. Navarro Choirs have been invited to perform at both state and national-level events. Voice students are eligible to participate in the National Association Teachers of Singing (NATS) student auditions and Concerto competition. Conducting opportunities are also available for qualified students.

THEATRE

The Department of Theatre produces four shows annually - two main stage and two second stage productions - featuring student performances in drama, musicals, and experimental theatre. Performances take place in various venues, including a proscenium stage seating 400, a Black Box theatre seating about 90, and the Pearce Museum in the Cook Education Center. Additionally shows are toured to various locations in Corsicana and the surrounding areas.

VISUAL ARTS

The Department of Visual Arts provides a liberal arts curriculum that includes studies in ceramics, design, drawing, and painting. Students develop observational, practical, and analytical skills while cultivating their artistic voices both in and outside the classroom. Final exhibitions offer students the opportunity to showcase their artwork at the Pearce Museum.
