Homecoming Court


The Homecoming Court is a long-celebrated tradition at Navarro College. The court members are chosen based on their academic success, leadership qualities, spirit, integrity and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Navarro College. Only current students and staff are eligible to vote for Homecoming royalty.

The Prince and Princess winners will be announced at the Blacklight Pep Rally on Thursday, October 23, 2025. The King and Queen will be announced and presented at halftime of the Homecoming football game between Navarro College and Cisco College on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Community National Community Bank & Trust Stadium in Corsicana. 

 

2025 Homecoming Court Nominations


Nominations are now open for the 2025 Homecoming Court! To nominate a candidate for King, Queen, Prince, Princess, complete the 2025 Homecoming Court Nomination Form. Only one submission per current student and staff is allowed.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Nominees must:

  • Be recommended by Navarro College Faculty and Staff

  • Must meet academic criteria of minimum: 2.5 GPA

  • Complete a committee review to determine eligibility.

 

When nominating, please provide information about the nominee's:

  • Academic achievements

  • Leadership qualities

  • School spirit

  • Community involvement

  • Personal character and integrity.

 

Nominees will participate in an interview process. Scores from the interviews will be combined with votes from students to determine the King, Queen, Prince, and Princess finalists.

 

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY RULES:

  • King and Queen candidates must have completed 30 or more credit hours at Navarro College.

  • Prince and Princess candidates must have completed no more than 29 credit hours.

A member of the Football team, Nehemiah is pursuing a degree in Business. Known for his leadership and positive attitude, he's always smiling. Fun fact: Nehemiah knows how to smoke a perfect brisket!

A student leader at the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM), Brayden is also involved in eSports and other campus activities. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and spending time in the gym.

A member of the Cheer team, Mason is pursuing a degree in Business. He is a leader among his peers and all-around a great person.

President of Student Government Association (SGA), Bailee is also a member of the American Sign Language (ASL) Club and active campus volunteer. Fun fact: she loves watching forensic psychology documentaries.

A talented performer in the Theatre Department, Helena also tutors and volunteers both on campus and in her community. Fun fact: she holds a black belt in Tan Soo Do!

A member of the Volleyball team, Isabella is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. Her vibrant personality and strong work ethic make her a true team player. She lifts ups per peers with her positivity and smile.

A Volleyball team member pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, Laura is known for her kindess and leadership. She's from Brazil and is fluent in both Portuguese and English.

Active in the student-led Bible study, Sarah also works as a Student Activities Department work-study. With experience as an athletic trainer, she plans to become a physical therapist.

Pursuing a degree in Nursing, Jot dedicates much of his time to community service. He's an excellent public speaker and an avid golfer in his spare time.

Desreena is a striker on the Navarro College Soccer Team, known for her determination on the field and her uplifting team spirit. She previously served as captain of the Sint Maarten National Soccer Team in the Caribbean.

A member of the Cheer team, Alaina is pursuing a degree in Nursing. A Corsicana native, she's active in her community and always willing to help others.
