Physical Therapist Assistant Program Admission Requirements

The following documents need to be on file with Navarro College PRIOR to application into the PTA program

REQUIRED	DETAILS
Apply to Navarro College	Apply to Navarro College if you're not already a student. Documentation demonstrating acceptance into Navarro College.
Transcripts	Send all OFFICIAL transcripts from other colleges and universities or GED/High School diploma to the Navarro College Office of Admissions.
Complete Required Pre-Requisite Courses	See below for required course details

Pre-Requisite Courses Required:

ENGL 1301	English Composition
PSYC 2314	Lifespan Growth & Development
BIOL 2401	Anatomy and Physiology I (Must have completed within the last 7 years)
BIOL 2402	Anatomy and Physiology II (Must have completed within the last 7 years)
OBSERVATION HOURS	40 hours in 2 settings with a minimum of 10 hours in an in-patient setting. (home health counts as in-patient)
