Apply to Navarro College

• Apply to Navarro College if you're not already a student

• Prior to acceptance to the program, you should be on degree plan: Pre-Bachelor of Science in Nursing-AS (AS.BDN).

Transcripts

Send all OFFICIAL transcripts from each college/university attended to Navarro College  Office of Admissions.

ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills)

• Take the TEAS test (opens in a new tab).

• Students may take the TEAS test twice during each application cycle
  (March 1, 2025 - Application deadline for 2026 admission).

• Only one set of scores will be accepted.

The ATI TEAS is designed specifically to assess a student's preparedness entering the health science fields. Most likely, you've been asked to take the TEAS as part of your basic admissions requirements for nursing or allied health school. That's because studies show a consistent link between a student's performance on the TEAS and future academic success.

*To be eligible for admission, students applying for the NC ADN program MUST achieve a total score of 66% or greater

ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills)

Include first page of TEAS test results

Degree Audit Transcript

Located in Self-Service under Unofficial Transcript.

Hep B

• Proof of first dose of 2 dose series or 1st and 2nd dose of 3 dose series. 

• Proof of completed immunization series

• Positive Antibody Titer

Hepatitis B (HepB) vaccine series and Positive Antibody Titer

• Proof of completed vaccination series  

• Positive antibody titer

Measles / Mumps / Rubella (MMR) or Positive Antibody Titer

• Two immunizations for Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR), or

• a Positive Antibody Titer showing immunity to all three.

Varicella (Chicken pox) or Positive Antibody Titer

• Two immunizations for Varicella (Chicken pox) or

• a Positive Antibody Titer

TDAP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis)

Proof of one dose of TDAP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis).

• If no record, you will need to receive TDAP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis).

• If TDAP was administered > 10 years ago, you will need TD booster. (TD booster is required every ten years thereafter)

Influenza

• One influenza injection due by October 1 of first semester

• Will be repeated annually, in fall for clinical

HepB vaccine series AND Positive Antibody Titer

• Proof of a complete HepB vaccine series, or

• a Positive Antibody Titer.

• 3-dose Series takes 6 months, so start NOW

• Must be submitted with the application AND uploaded to SurPath after acceptance and prior to orientation.

Tuberculosis (TB)

ADN students must now complete Tuberculosis (TB) blood testing (interferongamma release assay or IGRA).

There are currently two FDA approved blood tests - the QuantiFERON TB Gold Plus (QFT Plus) and the T-SPOT®.TB test (T-Spot). Students who are continuously enrolled will only require one blood test and then completion of an annual TB symptom screening form.
