How do I sign up for classes?

Who can sign up for classes?
Students who are residents of Texas and not attending high school may sign up for our classes. We require documentation for those under the age of 19.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Must be a Texas resident.

Must complete the registration process on OneFlow.

Open enrollment for persons 19 years old and older, not currently enrolled in school.

Persons 18 years old, must submit documentation of parent permission (or be able to prove they are living independently from parents), official withdrawal from last school attended, Birth Certificate, AND have approval from the Adult Education Department before they can register for classes.

Persons 17 years old, must submit documentation of parent permission, official withdrawal from last school attended, Birth Certificate, AND have approval from the Adult Education department before they can register for classes.

Persons 16 years old, must submit an original court order, documentation of parent permission, official withdrawal from last school attended, Birth Certificate, AND have approval from the Adult Education Department before they can register for classes.
How long do the classes run?
The classes are held throughout the entire year and are self-paced to allow students to work at their own speed. Students enter class on a monthly basis.
When are the classes?
The date and time of each class varies. Most classes are held 2-4 days per week in the morning or evening.
Which classes can I take for free?
The High School Equivalency (HSE), English as a Second Language (ESL), and BOOST classes are offered at no cost.
