TWO SUMMER SHOWINGSForward! To The Moonand From Earth to the Universe
In Forward! To The Moon, Kari Byron (Crash Test World and MythBusters) launches us on a journey beyond the Earth towards a sustainable future in space. NASA's 21st century Artemis program is the next step in our mission to explore the moon and worlds beyond (general audiences: 30 minutes).
From Earth to the Universe - This stunning voyage through space and time conveys the Universe revealed to us by science. Revel in the splendor of the worlds in the Solar System. Travel to the colorful birthplaces and burial grounds of stars. And still further out beyond the Milky Way to the unimaginable immensity of myriads of galaxies. (general audiences: 30 minutes).

PLANETARIUM PRESENTATION LIBRARY
The planetarium maintains a library of presentations suitable for a wide range of audiences. School Groups arranging for a private presentation may choose from the list of programs below. Non-school groups can see the current public show or be assigned an astronomical presentation suitable for the age/grade level of the group in consultation with the planetarium director.
THE STARS OVER TEXAS
Grades: K - 4
Length: 45 minutes - 1 hour
The stars at night are always big and bright inside our Texas planetarium! In this program, your presenter will show you the stars and constellations of the current season, tell a few star stories, talk about moon phases and eclipses, and take you on a tour of the five visible planets. The content of this program is adjusted to fit the age/grade level of the attending group.
THE PLANETS
Grades: 5 - 6
Length: 45 minutes - 1 hour
Take a tour of the solar system including stops at the sun, planets, and many of their moons. See exotic atmospheres, strange surfaces, and gain a new appreciation for our home planet. This program also includes a look at some exoplanet discoveries in our galaxy as well as a tour of the current night sky.
THE UNIVERSE
Grades: 7 - 8
Length: 45 minutes - 1 hour
Telescopes make an astonishing array of discoveries from nearby objects in the solar system to the most distant galaxies at the limits of the observable universe. This program, which also includes a look at the current night sky, shows you spectacular images of stars, clusters, nebulae, and galaxies woven into an engaging story of cosmic exploration.
