Fire Academy
Navarro College Fire Academy is licensed by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The Academy serves as a resource for the Texas Fire Service and related organizations by providing professional education in fire fighting through the Continuing Education and Protective Services study areas.
Navarro College conducts a Basic Firefighter Academy that serves municipal fire department needs throughout the State of Texas. Successful completion of the Fire Academy will qualify the student to take the state exam to qualify for certification.
Navarro College participates in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA). View the list of states where this program meets licensure or certification requirements.
