How many points do I need to be admitted to the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program?
The majority of ranking points are earned from scores on the TEAS test. To qualify for admission, the ADN program requires an overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 on all prerequisite courses.
A glossary defining terms related to Course Sections is accessible on the Catalog Course Description page. Additional ranking points may be earned for the following:
-

-
TSI complete
-

-
Current healthcare certification (Medical Assistant, Nurse Aide, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, Medication Aide, Patient Care Technician or Scrub Technologist)
-

No. There are no longer any expiration dates on any of the LVN-to-RN Bridge prerequisites.
Can I still work while attending the program?
It is not recommended that students work while attending the ADN Program. The schedule often requires students to attend class and/or clinical rotations throughout the week. Clinical rotations may also be scheduled on weekends, nights, and/or weekends.
Is the program offered online?
No. The Navarro College ADN program is a pre-licensure Registered Nursing (RN) program, therefore students are required to have face-to-face learning activities throughout the week. While some courses are delivered in a hybrid/online format, the majority are delivered face-to-face.
